MEET JEFF HELMS, CERTIFIED RETIREMENT COACH Jeff Helms has more than 20 years of experience developing financial roadmaps for retirement. Several years ago, he began conducting extensive research on the changing face of retirement and the new challenges it would bring. “ I concluded that that a combination of earlier retirements, longer life spans, and troubled government and social programs spelled potential disaster for many Americans unless they began taking more personal responsibility for their own destiny,” said Jeff. That's how the Reinventing Your Retirement program was created. Jeff combined his academic background in Behavioral Psychology with his professional experience in financial planning to create a complete retirement education program encompassing all aspects of retirement. “Providing individuals with the necessary knowledge and information on both financial and lifestyle issues is vital to confront the challenges that lie ahead,” he says. An accomplished public speaker, Jeff conducts the Reinventing Your Retirement Workshops throughout the Southeast for corporate employers, pension plan sponsors, and retirement organizations. He is a regular columnist and public speaker on the subject of retirement and is the author of the book, What Great Investors Know: a Primer for Retirement. His second book, Generation R: The New Retirement Nation, will be published in early 2007. |
